Altrim Publishers was created in 2013 to fill the gap many architects and architecture passionates encountered when traveling, the feeling they are missing something.

Ariadna A. Garreta, the founder of Altrim Publishers, felt that way when she traveled around India and, after looking for a solution and not finding it, she decided to start what is now the Indian Architectural Travel Guide, a pocket tool with everything there is to know about architecturally renowned cities such as Chandigarh, Ahmedabad and many others in India and other countries.

These guides are written by local internationally well-known architects or architectural historians that will guide you through unexplored territories of the city you visit. Different to any other travel guide, these are based on curated itineraries and with detailed customized maps of what to see and do during this itineraries.

And since we consider the journey as the motor of an architectural and cultural experience, we want to share all our adventures with you and also hear from your personal experiences when traveling with us. We will be sharing relevant and quality content to this blog. All related to our guides, those published and the ones we are working on, with the sole purpose of making your journey easy. And as the American poet Audre Lorde once said:
